VTM compliance reporting compares inbound carrier of record to the routing guide (preferred carrier) utilizing our rating and reporting modules of TRANSWARE™. Premium freight spend is identified by shipment and vendor for our customer usage. VTM builds a secure, cloud Vendor Routing Guide to reduce and eliminate future premium freight spend by our customer.

SOLUTION
VTM receives file transfer (in customer specific layout), VTM normalizes 3 years of data (as needed), indexes and loads into VTM data cube. VTM outputs data and reports back to our customer for use within customer internal infrastructure in customer specific file layouts.
OUTCOME
VTM delivers historical reports, charts, graphs for customer analysis. VTM provides customer with TRANSWARE™ report writer to allow customer ad hoc reporting. VTM provides specific customer data to customer General Ledger for cost center accruals and spend. VTM successfully integrates customer TMS output back into customer TMS system.

Global manufacturer lacked accurate month end freight liability accruals. Inexact estimating was impacting divisional expense reporting, planning and pricing decisions.
SOLUTION
VTM developed a daily electronic Bill of Lading file exchange with all manufacturing locations (domestic & international). All shipments (all modes) are rated by VTM and weekly accrual reports (spend projections) are produced by location, division and General Ledger code for forecasting purposes.
OUTCOME
VTM process and reporting has accurately identified weekly spend projections, identified consolidation opportunities and examined routing guide violations. VTM has positively impacted customer routing, accounting and pricing functions.
